Loudon County fugitive caught in Illinois | News
(WBIR - Loudon County) A man wanted in Loudon County on local, state, and federal charges, was extradited from Illinois to East Tennessee this week.
The Loudon County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into Tee Ray Pellom began in July 2014 after thefts and car burglaries in the Tellico Village and Foothills Pointe areas. He's accused of taking weapons, jewelry and purses. Earlier this month, investigators gathered more information about Pellom while investigating the sexual exploitation of a minor.
U.S. Marshals then located and arrested Tee Ray Pellom in Marion, Illinois. He waived extradition and was picked up by Loudon County deputies on August 18 and brought back to Loudon County.
He's charged with nine counts of auto burglary, seven counts of theft under $500, one count of aggravated burglary, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of violating state probation, and faces federal charges for possessing stolen firearms.
Pellom is being held on $62,000 bond, with three charges having no bond.
