Lenoir City helps a child in need of a service dog | Families

Loudon County helped a child get one step closer to getting a much-needed service dog.
Danny Lewis, 7, was recently diagnosed with Heller's Disease, an illness that causes dementia in a child.
Service dogs can cost around $12,000. The Lewis family has raised $5,000 as of now.
Today Lenoir City held a bake sale during their "City Street Festival," helping in that family's efforts.
The next fundraiser for Danny Lewis will be on October 27. This event is a pancake breakfast at the Lenoir City Ruritan Rotary Club.
